Why Doesn't Learn Abundance Work?
Learning to see and accept the abundance that exists every day requires participation in the creative process that is called manifesting. That may sound a bit like mumbo jumbo to those who have not heard of this relatively new technique, but it is a technique being used every day that teaches us to embrace all the world has to offer. It is not necessary to 'settle' in life or to simply 'get by'. We don't have to live according to what others expect of us. By embracing the concept that the world has more than enough for everyone, and open ourselves to what's right in front of us, we can manifest abundance in our own lives every day.
Manifesting may be a new concept to you. If so, it is helpful to think of it more as a perspective and outlook than a step-by-step manual such as might be provided by a self-help manual. Manifesting can take you out of the muck and mire of the life you have created and move you toward the life you were meant to live.
Far too often people settle for what they don't really want. Very early in life they make decisions that are not based on the dreams and goals. When they encounter obstacles they become discouraged and begin to relinquish their childhood hopes and dreams. Life is full of difficulties and compromise is often essential, but compromise does not mean you cannot continue to work toward the fulfillment of your dreams and manifest your hopes and aspirations. Persistence is required. Thomas Edison, the founder of the light bulb, would not have achieved his goals with stubborn, persistence. We might still be living in the dark!
It is true that we must live in the world. We must pay our bills and follow society's norms and rules. Our society is becoming more and more fragmented and demanding expertise in all areas. It makes seeing our dreams more difficult and our vision blurred.
Can we really change the way we think?
Manifesting, like most things worth doing, is a process that takes time and attention. First and foremost you must ask yourself, 'What do I want to manifest in my life?' It is never easy to look at ourselves closely, but if you want to achieve abundance in your life it is necessary. Look at your life and its circumstances carefully. Are you doing what you want or only what you feel you have to do? If each day is just a matter of survival, then it's time to look more closely at your choices and make some changes in your outlook.
We become immersed in all the tiny details of life and ends up leaving us feeling confusing. We feel muddled and uncertain of the meaning of it all. Day after day we put all of our energy into surviving and we forget how to even visualize our dreams and hopes. Manifestation is a tool that can help pull you out of the muck and mire of this confusion.
Manifestation can offer you clarity and restore your hope and vision. It is not wonder so many of us feel as if life has no meaning and purpose, and we feel burdened and confused. We spend our days faced with choice after choice in a maze of options. Take for example, a trip to the grocery store. Even there, the simple task of buying a box of cereal is complicated by the choice we must make between 100's of options. College students must choose a major from hundreds of options and even choose again when they are asked to specialize within the major. A degree just opens the door to even more choices as are career options abound.
A common choice that many Americans make when faced with these overwhelming career options, is to just try to make as much money as possible in what they choose to do. They think that if they do that, everything else will take care of itself in time. But it will not and most end up realizing this much later in life after much time has been wasted. Money does not equal fulfillment. It may satisfy your needs for a time, but sooner or later it will leave you feeling empty and looking for something else.
It is important to know what it is you want, but it is also important to have confidence that you can manifest your goals. Thinking positively and believing that anything you desire to do is possible is essential to making it happen in your life. It doesn't really matter whether you're talking about your professional life or your personal life. What does matter is eliminating our negative thought patterns and focusing instead on the positive. The truth is, that the more we focus on our failures the harder it is to see our dreams and the more difficult it becomes to obtain them.
When you get right down to it manifesting is easy.
*Look inside your heart and find your dreams. Decide exactly what it is you want.
*Keep a positive attitude by keeping your eye on the successes.
*Take steps to bring your dreams to reality. Take the risks necessary to make them happen.
Our man Thomas Edison said 'Show me a thoroughly satisfied man and I will show you a failure'. He understood that dreams take work; that being satisfied with what is would never lead us to accomplishing our dreams and creating the life we long to live. He also understood that it is not always a straight and easy path but one often filled with failure as well as success, pain as well as joy. In the end all that really matters is persistence and hope.
