Manifesting abundance in our lives is a concept that has grown in popularity recently. Perhaps you are wondering if it is really possible to learn abundance thinking. Or you may think the creative process known as manifesting is a bit of a mystery. But manifesting is really a simple concept. It is about accepting that life has more than enough for everyone. Believing in abundance means that we do not need to just live to survive but that we can have much more. There are no step-by-step guidelines for manifesting and this is both the beauty and the challenge.

If you are new to manifesting you may want to think of this as a life philosophy instead of a simple self-help series. To put it simply manifesting is about reaching all of your personal and professional goals in the strange times we live in.

Far too often people settle for what they don’t really want. Very early in life they make decisions that are not based on the dreams and goals. When they encounter obstacles they become discouraged and begin to relinquish their childhood hopes and dreams. Life is full of difficulties and compromise is often essential, but compromise does not mean you cannot continue to work toward the fulfillment of your dreams and manifest your hopes and aspirations. Persistence is required. Thomas Edison, the founder of the light bulb, would not have achieved his goals with stubborn, persistence. We might still be living in the dark!

It is true that we must live in the world. We must pay our bills and follow society’s norms and rules. Our society is becoming more and more fragmented and demanding expertise in all areas. It makes seeing our dreams more difficult and our vision blurred.

Can we really change the way we think?

In order to understand manifesting, you must realize and accept that it is a process, a course of action. You can begin this process today by asking yourself, ‘What do I really want?’ It’s not always easy to dive beneath the surface of everyday life to find the answer to this question. But if you put aside your immediate concerns and really listen to yourself and your heart, you will discover the answer. Are you doing what you want to do or what you think you have to do? It may take some time to find the answer, but your persistence will pay off.

There is no question that life these days in is quite overwhelming and confusing. We’ve come to focus all of our attention on what we need to do rather than what we may want to do. Chaos and confusion overwhelm us can we lose our ability to live the life we want to life. We use all of our energy just to survive. We can use the simple tool of manifestation to remove ourselves and our lives from this quagmire.

Manifestation helps us find clarity of thinking and illuminates our path. We desperately need this in our world today. Our day to day lives are overwhelming. Just think of what is involved in a simple trip to the grocery store. We have hundreds of decisions to make. Buying a box of cereal involves making our selection from hundreds of options. The same is true of students going to college. There are now hundreds of different majors and even more if you add minors and advanced degrees. When a student graduates from college he is faced with thousands of career and job options in a sea of complicated businesses and industries.

All of these career options lead many Americans to simply choose a path that offers the most money. After all, they reason, if I make money, then the rest will take care of itself. Sadly, this is not how it works. Most end up much later in life feeling lost when they realize that money is not the answer. Money may seem like the answer, particularly when we are young. But it is not. Chasing the almighty dollar can leave you feeling empty and lost.

When embarking on the process of manifesting your dreams, it is essential to view life with confidence. Positive thinking is necessary to achieving an effective outcome. Not only must you know what you want in life, but you must believe that you can achieve it. Regardless of whether we are looking for our dreams to come true in our personal life or our professional life, we must believe that there are achievable. Steer yourself away from negative thinking and focus only on the positive. Focusing on our mistakes makes it much more difficult to see our dreams.

When you get right down to it manifesting is easy.

*Decide what it is that you truly want out of all aspects of your life, professionally and personally.

*Keep a positive perspective and center your attention on your successes.

*You must act on what you have decided you want. You must take the risks necessary to move toward your goal.

When you sum it all up there is a simple message contained in these techniques, you cannot be satisfied with the way things are. To again go back to Thomas Edison, he commented once, ‘Show me a satisfied man and I will show you a failure.’ You see Edison knew something that many people still do not; you have to strive to make dreams come true. His life was a living testament to this fact. He had figured out some key truths about life, that is it full of pain and joy, failure and success and satisfaction is just another way to give up. He continually pushed for success and so should you.
