Now, I can hear you saying that that's nonsense; why would you create a life of struggle and scarcity, especially when it comes to money and especially because events occur that seem to be beyond your control, like losing your job? However, our outer abundance is simply a manifestation of the life we live \"inside.\" That's also why, by the way, you'll fail if you try to manipulate the Law of Attraction to try to bring more money into your life.
Let's address this question. If the Law of Attraction is truly universal, why won't it work the way you want it to? First, let's discuss with the Law of Attraction is, and what it isn't. It's always working, whether you realize it or not, and it's always working even if you don't believe it is. It's immutable, it's a law of the universe, and it must be understood to work for you. One of the problems with the Law of Attraction is that you can misinterpret \"understanding\" and you can try to manipulate the Law of Attraction, too.
The Law of Attraction has gotten a lot of attention recently because of popular books and movies like The Secret. However, this is in fact a Law that people have known about for centuries, and is the foundation of many belief systems and esoteric teachings.
The Law of Attraction cannot be dismissed as nothing more than a pop culture fad. Even if it doesn't seem to be working for you, it shouldn't be abandoned. If this Law isn't working for you, it means you haven't learned its true essence. There are people that have experienced in working in the reverse. Instead of improving their financial matters, they seem to fall further into financial trouble.
The last thing you want to do is dismiss the Law of Attraction as some kind of pop culture fad. Don't make the mistake of abandoning it if it doesn't seem to be working in your favor. That's what the Law of Attraction is going to pick up on and bring you more of. In other words, what you attract to you are more situations that make you feel hopeless, desperate, and financially strapped.
For many individuals this situation is like a Catch-22. Wikipedia defines a Catch-22 as when an \"\"individual finds him or herself in need of something which can only be had by not being in need of it.\" While this sounds like an insurmountable obstacle, you can learn the techniques that will allow you to intentionally use the power of the Law of Attraction to turn your financial situation around in your favor.
The first thing you need to do is check in with yourself and be honestly aware of what your feelings are. Because your emotions are the means by which the Law of Attraction works, your emotions will also tell you just what vibrations you are sending out to the universe. It can be difficult to control your emotions, certainly, so don't expect that you will master the Law of Attraction quickly. It'll take some effort, just as those who've gone before you have had to master it, including ancient initiates who were undergoing esoteric training.
If you know this and you take action, though, you're going to be far ahead of most people as it relates to using the Law of Attraction to attract more abundance into your life. You can't trick the Law of Attraction, because your emotions, not your conscious mind, are what send out vibrations.
If you are using affirmations to try to change your circumstances, though, they're not going to work unless your feelings match them. So, check in with your feelings and see what they are. If you're feeling afraid because your current situation is that you can't pay your bills in time, or if you're feeling depressed because of your financial circumstances, leave the affirmations for another day. If you don't, you'll just create more financial strife for yourself.
Instead, work with affirmations as they relate to the Law of Attraction when you're feeling hopeful, positive, and happy. These are positive emotional vibrations, and by using them along with the positive intent to manifest financial abundance, you truly harness the universe to work for you. It has no choice but to bring you occurrences that are financially positive.
It really is the Law of Attraction. As one of the unchangeable laws of the universe, you'll need to learn how it works and what it is in order to be able to use it skillfully. You can focus on being positive by being grateful for what you have already. If you practice being grateful regularly, this is indeed a very powerful way to manifest prosperity and abundance for yourself through the Law of Attraction.
